The Beaches

The Beaches Toronto is the epicentre for summer where people from all over the city come to enjoy Toronto’s summer life. The Beach Village is a community that has a relaxed and small-town vibe while still being in one of Canada’s largest urban centres. The community a vibrant, colourful, beach town perfect for small businesses that thrive on the foot traffic and visiting beach-goers. Amazing views of one of Canada’s Great Lakes, Lake Ontario with 3 main beaches: Ashbridges, Woodbine and Kew Beach. Woodbine has accessibility access so the whole family can enjoy. Access to TTC connecting to the subway, amazing boutiques, trendy restaurants and all the necessities for beach style living. Its California living in the heart of Toronto with access to hospitals, medical clinics, libraries, Toronto Public and Catholic schools and so much more. Although it seems like a busy neighbourhood, the Beaches Toronto has a serene lifestyle one that makes relaxation a priority.

There are endless things to do whether its walking down the beautiful boardwalk with your dog, rollerskating or biking with the family, or a morning stroll on the beach. You have to visit Kew Gardens a 6.5 hectare park that has a whole host of fun outdoor activities such as, tennis, sports pad, and in the winter the skating rink. There is access to change rooms, washrooms, water refill and snack bar. You can easily hop on a streetcar and head towards the downtown core. The possibilities are endless and the Beaches Toronto is a community that works together to support one another. Every July the Beaches puts on the International Jazz Festival were musicians from around the world perform and share their love of music with residents and tourists. Don’t fancy the beach don’t worry there are outdoor pools that are supervised by lifeguards and you get a fantastic view of Lake Ontario.

The Beaches are rich in history from the construction to the evolution of the design of the beach and homes. The Beaches were designed in 1910 for residents wanting the best of both worlds working in the core and living by the beach. The Beaches are home to Olympic Athlete Swimmer Penny Oleksiak and other well-known celebrities have resided in the Beaches. The Beach Living magazine keeps residents up to date planning for the future but remembering and honouring the past. The Beaches is the escape from the city within the city.
