A wonderful and centrally located park in the heart of Peterborough. Jackson Creek flows from Little Lake to the city’s East and flows through Jackson Park and beyond, allowing locals and visitors to observe a great example of the area’s many natural features. Jackson Creek Kiwanis Trail runs for four kilometers through the park.
Peterborough Regional Health Centre is a state-of-the-art regional hospital with a proud local history extending back over a century. A newly built facility was erected in 2008 and serves over 300,000 people in the county. With a capacity of almost 500 beds, our regional hospital has one of the busiest Emergency Departments in Ontario, and offers an extensive range of services, including specialized programs in renal, stroke, cardiac, cancer care and vascular surgery.
